What products does Wicked Records specialize in?

Here at Wicked we tend to concentrate more on pre-owned\vintage media. However we are starting to increase our efforts on new and Exclusive releases. Our inventory will begin to reflect this in the coming months. You also notice we are heavy into Japanese pressings as they are notorious for having  higher production and pressing quality standards , especially during the 60’s -80’s.

Is signing up\creating an account a requirement?

Nope….but setting up an account will make it easier on checkout. Once the dust settles, we hope to make the experience a lot more informative and personal with special updates, earlier heads up to upcoming releases and pre-orders.

 What if I don’t see what I’m looking for in the store?

Its tough to stock every artist and every release, but chances are we either have that item or a comparable item on hand in our “vault” or we can source it through our global affiliates. Aside from what you see available in the store we have an additional 2000 LPs on hand offline, and have sources in The US (California, Illinois and Florida), Japan and the UK who have access to vintage and new releases.

 How long does it take for orders to arrive and what’s your shipping policy?

In stock items ship on Tuesdays and Fridays and should be at your door within 3-6 days depending on location. No one likes to wait for packages to arrive but sometimes delays beyond our control do happen. Sourced items will be on a individual bases and pre-orders usually take 6-10 weeks once they leave the US or UK. Japan has a drastically less lead time , more along the lines of 1-2 weeks.

Currently we only serve the Philippines vinyl community and because of the high cost of international shipping, we don’t see that changing in the near future.  We use a plateaued FLAT RATE shipping program. Its much easier to admin and it passes the savings on to the customer. 1 -10 records, 10-20 records etc. We charge fairly for shipping and include a small amount for the packaging and materials.

If in the IloIlo area pick-up is available at no charge.

Do you guys have coupons, discount codes, sales or a loyalty program?

Currently we do not but the plan is to incorporate all of these into the whole experience of browsing our inventory and expanding your vinyl collections. We understand there are many options out there vying for your patronage, and we hope to be your ‘Go To” place for your vinyl needs.

Only Vinyl?….why?

Yep….The first reason being, it’s the medium we/I know and have been involved in since 1980. I love music\records and that passion has allowed me to accrue a lot of experience and knowledge in the medium. It’s fun to share that knowledge with like-minded people whether just getting into this crazy hobby or a seasoned veteran.  Secondly…it’s easy to just buy records ..CDs…cassettes in bulk…not knowing what you’re getting both in content and quality. What’s the sense in having a huge inventory, and some of it is just “junk” scratched, water damaged etc. I don’t want to pass that on just to make a peso…that’s totally not the point. Our vinyl are all purchased with the intent to give the buyer the best experience possible, that’s what it’s all about. 98% of our records are VG+ or better (media and sleeve). There are instances of lower gradings for sleeves…but only for rare or difficult to find LPs. The media really needs to be VG+ or better for a good listen. You also notice we don’t stock a lot of the stuff you see everywhere…not that ABBA, Air Supply and Michael Franks aren’t good…but…we’d rather use the valuable shelf space for better offerings.

That being said there is not reason that we cannot expand out offerings in the future….CD, cassettes….movie posters etc…..they are all on the table for future offerings.

OK…I bought a few items…..how do I pay?

Online Payment via Paypal/Gcash

 Transfer to either of these banks:  BPI or GCash

In person Payment (Cash/Gcash)

Can I cancel orders, preorders..can I return records?

Yes up to the point of the item shipping, in stock items can be canceled, a small restocking fee of 50P will be charged for the cost of the refund.

Preorder items require full payment and if cancelled after payment there is a 15% restocking fee,

“Sourced” items may cancelled but there is 50% penalty. Reason being is we ordered this record(s) specifically for you, there isn’t another immediate buyer.

Can I return or exchange items?

Due to the nature of LPs, Vinyl, records….returns are not accepted. Damaged in shipping\courier items must be claimed via the courier service, hence the reason all shipments are insured for the value.

Sealed\New items that are shipped damaged or factory defects are not returnable. We always suggest you allow us to open and check the pressing so if there are issues we deal with the problem and not the customer.
