Description

Recorded at The Roundhouse, 18th February 1978 at a benefit organized by Wilko Johnson to raise money to preserve some William Wordsworth manuscripts. The Rolling Stones mobile recorded the Motorhead’s set, but for contractual reasons they were billed as Iron Fist & the Hordes From Hell. It is a collection of songs they played in the mid-late 70s; pretty much none of this material has been part of their live set since the early-mid 80s. Lemmy is heard at the end of the concert to say “read plenty of Wordsworth” and as a result the album got its title because of this.
